ASPIRING FOR GREATNESS
Speedworks Academy is a non-for profit charitable organisation that supports local developing athletes by giving them the opportunity to fulfil their potential through elite coaching, and mentoring. The goals of the charity are to encourage more individuals to get into sport and have access to high performance coaching and for those that are already immersed in sport to bridge the gap from junior talent to senior performance. The development of athleticism, technical mastery, strength & conditioning, mental toughness, self-efficacy and lifestyle skills are the cornerstones of future success in sport as well as in day to day life. The academy aims to develop the person as well as the athlete. When this happens, the lessons can last a lifetime. We would like to support and encourage all aspiring individuals to be the best that they can be through our school visits and speed school training camps. As a team we have accumulated numerous years of experience in different walks of life, from introducing young children to the foundations of running technique, fine tuning elite sprinters, footballers, rugby players, and returning injury prone athletes to stardom. Please see below more information on our services.

Our Academy Ambassador and GB Olympic Medalist Joel Fearon is currently going into schools and inspiring children all over the UK. He is a fantastic role model as he was just an ordinary child but through commitment, hard work and direction he did extraordinary things! He wants to inspire the next generation and understands the importance of giving guidance and instilling self worth at a young age.
Joel is available for schools through targeted mentoring, group PE lessons, inspirational talks through day or half day visits or simply presenting in an assembly.
